Eco school students enjoy day with exotic pets

Myton Schoolchildren were pictured getting up close and personal with snakes and creepy crawlies as part of a two-day roadshow which also bought toads, spiders, tree frogs and millipedes into the classroom.
The opportunity to handle the rare specimens came as part of Year 9 work on the impact of human development on the rainforest, particularly that of deforestation.

The Zoolab visit also marked Myton’s special status as an Eco School.
