Former pupils of a Leamington primary school are being sought for a big reunion this summer.
The event is being organised to celebrate the 40th anniversary of St Anthony's in Sydenham Drive and will coincide with the retirement of headteacher Joseph Cannon after 31 years at the school.
Vice-chairman of the parents' and teachers' association Tracy Lynch, whose five-year-old son Jack is a pupil, said: "We thought it would be a nice way to bring the surrounding community back to the school.
"I'm quite new to the area, but it seems like a lot of people who grow up here move back because it is such a nice place so we're hoping there will still be lots of alumni still living in the area.
"It will be nice for students to come back and meet their old headteacher."
The school has had only three headteachers since it opened in 1968 and it is hoped they will all attend the event on June 28.
These include Mr Cannon - who has been head for six years - Tony Melton and Wilfred Feeley.
Parent governor Mary Moran said: "The school was set up because there was a big Irish Catholic community in Leamington.
"We now also have a lot of Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Sikh children so it is a very multi-cultural school.
"I'm hoping that lots of former students will get in touch and we'll have a good summer for it."
A summer fete is planned for the afternoon and a hog roast and ceilidh will be held in the evening.
Anyone who would like to attend should email mary.moran@ntlworld.com
